KU rallies to give Les Miles a win in debut

It wasn't always pretty, but Kansas gave Les Miles a win in his debut as head coach over Indiana State, 24-17.

The Jayhawks fell behind in the 4th quarter after a fumble by quarterback Carter Stanley was recovered in the end zone by ISU's Inkoe Moala.

It gave the Sycamores a 17-16 lead with 4:24 to play.

Stanley and the KU offense answered the call on the next possession as Stanley threw a 22 yard touchdown pass to Daylon Charlot to cap off an 8 play , 75 yard drive.

The Jayhawks defense would force a turnover on downs to seal the deal.

Kansas hosts Coastal Carolina next Saturday at 6 pm. The game is being carried on ESPN Plus.
