The Wichita Police Department is conducting a DUI saturation patrol Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

Officer Charley Davidson said that over Labor Day weekend in 2017, Wichita police arrested 13 drivers for being under the influence. Officers arrested 14 drivers for DUI over the holiday weekend last year.

"WPD wants to remind drivers that if you are partaking in any alcoholic beverages to celebrate the Labor Day weekend not to drink and drive," Davidson said.
