WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Rewards have been increased as Wichita police search for the suspects in two shooting deaths this year.

On February 24, Hector Ortega was shot in the head and found in his car in the 1100 block of South Fern, near Kellogg and Seneca. It was early on a Sunday morning. Ortega died two days later.

Police say a party was being held at a residence and Ortega was shot during an argument.

Crime Stoppers says there is a cash reward of up to $7,500 being offered for information leading to an arrest.

On July 19, someone robbed and killed Chuck Giles in the driveway of his home near 25th and North Amidon. Police believe Giles was targeted for robbery, but investigators aren't sure if he was followed to his home.

There is now a cash reward of up to $8,000 in that case.
