3 Dodge City students arrested for school threat

DODGE CITY, Kan. (KAKE) -

Police in southwest Kansas say they've arrested three high school students after investigating a threat of violence. 

The Dodge City Police Department said on Facebook that the students, ages, 17, 17 and 18, each face a felony charge of criminal threat. Officers were were made aware Monday of a possible threat of violence to the high school. 

Names and details of the threat were not released. 

Police said charges would be filed with the Ford County attorney's office.
