Driver dies after semi overturns on Kansas highway

LINCOLN, Kan. (KAKE) -

Authorities say a 59-year-old semi truck driver has died in a rollover crash on a highway in north-central Kansas. 

The accident happened shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday on K-14 about 11 miles north of Lincoln. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports Gerald Lang was driving southbound when his rig left the roadway to the right. He overcorrected and the semi, which was pulling a utility trailer, rolled. 

Lang, of Nevada, Iowa, was transported to a local hospital where he died.
