MISSING IN KANSAS: Victor Chavez

GARDEN CITY, Kan. (KAKE) -

Law enforcement agencies in western Kansas are hoping to find a man accused of rape in 2010.

Victor Fabian Chavez was initially reported as a runaway teen on Dec. 6, 2010 in Garden City. Less than two weeks later, the Finney County Sheriff's Office issued a warrant for Chavez, who is accused of rape, aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated indecent liberties. A sergeant with the police department says it's believed Chavez fled the country after the warrant was issued.

Height: 5’10’’

Weight: 150 pounds

Hair: Black

Eyes: Brown

Distinguishing marks: At least one ear pierced
