Another $1,500 added to reward in murder of Wichita restaurant owner

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Crime Stoppers says an additional $1,500 has been added to the reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot and killed a Wichita restaurant owner last month. 

Chuck Giles was killed outside his home near 25th and North Amidon at around 10 p.m. on Friday, July 19. Police believe Giles was targeted for robbery, but investigators aren't sure if he was followed to his home.

Crime Stoppers said Tuesday morning that a $1,000 supplemental award was offered in the case, and then followed up hours later with a tweet that said an additional $500 was added.
