2 critically hurt in northeast Wichita crash

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Two people are critically injured in a crash in northeast Wichita late Monday night.

The accident was reported around 11 p.m. Monday near 25th and Hillside.

Wichita Police officers said a truck was heading east on 25th Street, and it ran a stop sign. The driver lost control, hit a fence and slammed into a tree.

Witnesses did not realize two people were inside the vehicle, they told KAKE News. The two people were taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
