WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

For the first time in decades, Cessna Stadium will no longer be the home of the Kapaun Mount Carmel football team. Instead the Crusaders will spend this upcoming season playing their home games at Stryker Sports Complex.

The school made the announcement on Twitter on Monday. In the tweet, Kapaun Mount Carmel called this an "exploratory" year at the Stryker Sports Complex.

Kapaun Mount Carmel's home opener is set for September 6th against Wichita Southeast.
