A boy from Georgia attended the first day of school wearing a shirt with a special message his mother made him.

WXIA reported Thursday that Blake Rajahn walked into North Fayette Elementary wearing an orange shirt with the words "I will be your friend" in green letters.

Blake's mom, Nikki, recently started her own personalization business and told Blake she would make him any kind of shirt he wanted for the first day of school.

He said, "Will you please make me a shirt that says ‘I will be your friend’ for all the kids who need a friend to know that I am here for them?'”

Nikki said her son has experienced bullying in the past and wants other kids to know that Blake is there for them.

She’s sold several shirts like Blake’s since posting the photo.
