KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KAKE) -

A Kansas City artist hopes a billboard and others like it will not only change a life but possibly save one, too.

Nicole Leth tells KCTV she wants you to know you are enough and the word on the new bill board were carefully crafted to make a difference.

“It says you are human. You are lovable. You are strong, and you are enough," she said. “When I was 17, I lost my father to suicide, and I made it my mission to save a life with my artwork."

Her father died nine years ago and now Leth, 26, is making good on that promise. She saved her money to create the message she feels strongly about sending.

Leth hopes billboard will be the first of many across the Kansas City metro area. She says she’s already getting feedback that it’s made a difference.
