Oklahoma puppies named after Taco Bell menu items looking for homes

Posted: Updated:
OKLAHOMA CITY (KAKE) -

Several puppies named after Taco Bell menu items are in need of forever homes.

Ally Turley Young, of Oklahoma City, said on Facebook that she and her husband volunteered a few months ago to foster a terrier that was on the shelter’s kill list that day. They named the pup “Taco Belle.”

Young said they later found out that Taco Belle was pregnant, and she gave birth to nine puppies a few weeks later.

“Naturally each baby was named after a Taco Bell menu item,” Young said.

One of the puppies did not survive, KOCO reports. The rest of the puppies are named Cinnamon Twist, Crunchwrap Supreme, Doritos Loco, Quesarito, Gordita, Chalupa, Bellegrande and Fiesta Potato.

Gordita, Bellegrande, Crunchwrap, and Doritos Loco are still up for adoption

Young's post has been shared more that 34,000 times.
