UPDATE: Missing Hays woman found safe

SATURDAY MORNING UPDATE

A woman reported missing Friday in Hays has now been found.

Police stated the Silver Alert for 77-year-old Gail Thal has been canceled, and Thal is now home safe with her family.

"The Hays Police Department and her family would like to thank everyone for their assistance," Hays Police stated on their Facebook page.

Police are hoping you can help find an elderly woman missing since Friday night in central Kansas.

The Hays Police Department issued a Silver Alert for Gail M. Thal, who was reported missing by her family.
 

Thal, 77, was last seen around 7 p.m. Friday in the 200th block of east 16th Street in Hays. She was last seen wearing a white jacket, blue shirt and dark pants.

Height: 5’4’’

Weight: 140 pounds

Hair: Blonde

Eyes: Blue
