Police assisting FBI with investigation in several Wichita locations

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

The Federal Bureau of Investigation says Wichita police are assisting agents with an investigation spanning several locations in the city. 

Officer Charley Davidson said in an email at 8 a.m. Wednesday that Wichita police were assisting the FBI at 1st and Chautauqua streets.

KAKE News reached out to an an FBI spokesperson who said there's an ongoing investigation at multiple location in the Wichita area, but she was unable to give the locations or release details about the investigation.

The spokesperson did say that there's no danger to the public.
