Wrong-way driver dies after crashing head-on into semi in Kansas

TROY, Kan. (KAKE) -

Authorities say a 22-year-old man has died after crashing head-on into a semi in northeast Kansas. 

The accident happened shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday on Route 36 west of Troy in Doniphan County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports Isaiah Creek was driving east in the westbound lane and his pickup crashed into an oncoming tractor-trailer. 

Creek, of Sabetha, died at the scene. The 52-year-old semi driver was not seriously hurt.
