A hot day for yard work didn’t stop a Pennsylvania police officer from going above and beyond the call of duty.

WHTM reports West York officer Bridgette Wilson saw a woman mowing her lawn Thursday and decided to give her a hand. Officer Wilson turned her patrol car around, stopped at the woman’s home and finished the job.

Resident Ryan Brunner saw the officer's good deed and posted a video to Facebook.
