Farmer's Market: Grilled Balsamic Chicken Legs Recipe

Krista Sanderson with Eat Real America stops by the Good Morning KAKEland set to show us how to make a great summer grilling recipe with chicken.

Grilled Balsamic Chicken Legs


2 lbs chicken legs (or thighs, wings, or breasts)

1 Tbsp stone ground mustard

1 Tbsp fresh rosemary (chopped)

1 garlic clove (finely diced, or 1/4 tsp garlic powder)

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

1/2 cup olive oil

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper


1.  Marinate the chicken by placing everything in a large Ziploc bag or medium size bowl.  Seal the bag or cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

2.  Preheat the grill and let the chicken sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes before grilling.

3.  Remove the chicken from the marinade and grill for 20 minutes or until cooked through and blackened to your liking. 

4.  Serve and enjoy!
