MISSING IN KANSAS: Brooklynn Schlicher found safe

Family said Brooklynn Schlicher has been found safe. They said the shared flyers on social media helped find the teenager, and thank everyone for helping them out.


The family of a missing south-central Kansas teen is hoping the community can help find her.

Brooklynn Schlicher ran away at least twice this past week, and there is concern for her safety. Brooklynn was reported missing on July 1 in Wichita. Her family believes she's in a dangerous situation.

Family said they believed she left with a man in a gray or olive early 2000’s model Mazda Tribute. The SUV has a broken side window, located on the back of the driver’s side of the vehicle.

Age: 16

Height: 5’2’’

Weight: 135 pounds

Hair: Brown

Eyes: Blue

Distinguishing marks: Braces; handmade tattoo of cross on left wrist.
