Wade, Newman shine in 2019 Summer League debut

Former rivals Dean Wade and Malik Newman are teaming up over the next few weeks on the Cleveland Summer League team. 

Both shined on the league's opening night as Newman scored 16 points in 16 minutes on the floor, while Wade finished with 14 points and 6 rebounds. 

The Cavaliers ultimately fell short 97-89 to San Antonio. 

Former Kansas Center Thomas Robinson, added 8 points for the Spurs. 

Cleveland plays again on Tuesday night in Salt Lake City at 8 pm CST.
