Infant formula recalled because of fears of metal

Posted: Updated:

An infant formula is being voluntarily recalled due to concern of metal being found in it.

Containers of Parent’s Choice Advantage Infant Formula Milk-Based Powder with Iron is being pulled from shelves, but families will want to see if their products are affected.

The formulas are sold only at Walmart. The recall affects about 23,400 containers, which are 35-ounce, 992 grams. Products affected have a Lot Code C26EVFV with a "use by" date of February 26, 2021.

Nobody has been hurt leading up to the recall, but the company is taking caution after a consumer reported the issue.

If you have the product, stop using it and return the item to Walmart for a refund.
