DALLAS, June 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Trade Group, an award winning, full-service event marketing and creative design firm, is pleased to announce that it will resume the general services contractor role for the Pokémon North American International Championships (NAIC) in Columbus, Ohio. The three-day event runs June 21-23, 2019 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center and will feature Pokémon trading card game and video game competitions for participants of all ages.

This is the third consecutive year Pokémon Company International has engaged The Trade Group to serve as general services contractor for the NAIC event, as well as the Pokémon World Championships, which will be held this August in Washington, D.C.

As general services contractor, The Trade Group is responsible for facilitating the event from start to finish. This includes managing a team of engineers, designers, project managers, technology experts, logistics specialists, A/V pros, electricians and laborers-the majority of whom are sourced from The Trade Group's experienced in-house team.

In terms of duties, The Trade Group team is involved with every aspect of the event. Key responsibilities include creating the event floor plan, graphic and structural design, printing, logistics and the sourcing and installation of all physical assets-from hundreds of gaming tables to tournament stages and more.

On the technical side, The Trade Group coordinates and delivers all lighting, electrical, WiFi and A/V services. The company also works closely with Pokemon Company International's broadcast partner and other smaller live streaming services to provide the technical assets and support necessary to produce live broadcasts during the event.

According to KT Salzmann, Project Manager at The Trade Group, the reason the three-year relationship with Pokémon Company International has been so successful is because The Trade Group has been able to provide the client with a truly customized, turnkey solution.

As Salzmann explains, "Unlike other firms, we don't have to farm out work because we can handle most tasks internally. Along with performing GC duties, we manage all of the design, fabrication and printing work in-house, plus we have esports experts on staff. This approach allows us to minimize client costs, while maintaining quality control."
