Five teenagers have been injured with at least one in critical condition after allegedly stealing a vehicle and wrecking it in north Wichita.

It happened around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Emergency crews responded to an injury accident in the 2500 block of East Raleigh Drive. Five 14-year-old boys were found in an SUV that had collided with a tree.

Investigators say the vehicle had been reported stolen on Wednesday morning. The vehicle  is also suspected to have been involved in a drive-by shooting that occurred in the 2700 block of North Poplar just before the wreck.

Sedgwick County Dispatch confirmed that at least one of the teens had suffered critical injuries. Wichita police say all five were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
