Man shot by clerk pleads guilty to robbing store

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

A Wichita man has pleaded guilty to robbing a liquor store during which a clerk shot him in the leg. 

19-year-old Rayquan Hill pleaded guilty to one count of robbery Monday.  In his plea, he admitted he and another man robbed F&K Liquor, 902 S. Woodlawn, in May, 2018.   A clerk shot Hill in the leg during the robbery.  

  Hill will be sentenced August 5th.  He faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.    

  Co-defendant Jamaryus Moore is awaiting sentencing.
