Four arrested accused of attempted robbery at the Kansas State Fairgrounds

The Hutchinson Police Department arrests four people accused of trying to steal money from a Texas man at the Kansas State Fairgrounds.

Police were called to a possible shooting around 4:30 Friday afternoon to the RV park at the fairgrounds.

When they arrived, the victim reported being confronted by four suspects while inside his camper.  He says they beat him, but he was able to grab a firearm he had hidden in the camper and fire several shots to try and get the neighbors to call 911.

All the involved parties were on scene when officers arrived.  No injuries were reported due to gunfire.

Four suspects were arrested and charged with Attempted Aggravated Robbery.  They are each being held on a $50,000 bond.
