Moms get in free to the Sedgwick County Zoo and Tanganyika on Mother’s Day

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

To celebrate Mother’s Day this Sunday, moms get free admission to Tanganyika Wildlife Park and can also get in free to the Sedgwick County Zoo with another paid admission.

At the zoo, Chris Cakes of Wichita will be serving up all-you-can eat pancakes and sausage for only $5 per plate from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

So kids, grab your mom and treat her to a relaxing day seeing animals interacting with their babies!

The Sedgwick County Zoo is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mother's Day. Admission is $15.70 per adult, $11,70 for seniors 62 and older, $11.70 for children ages 3 to 11, and free for children 2 and under. Find information about a zoo membership here.

Tanganyika is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Admission is $19.99 per adult, $15.99 for seniors age 60 to 89, and $14.99 for children ages 3 to 11. Find more ticket options here.

Moms who bring their kids to the Rolling Hills Zoo in Salina on Mother's Day will also get free admission.
