Wichita police say they've arrested a 17-year-old girl for DUI following a crash that injured seven people with disabilities.

Officer Charley Davidson said the teen was booked for driving under the influence of drugs, running a stop sign and a warrant.  Her name was not released.

The crash happened at around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Louis and Young streets, near Central and West. Police say the teen ran a stop sign and collided with a van that was transporting seven people with disabilities. The van rolled onto its side.

The passengers were all treated for their injuries and have been released from the hospital. The driver of the van was not seriously hurt.

"The van was a transportation van for an area business providing services to clients with physical and mental disabilities," Officer Davidson said.

A 23-year-old man in the teen's car had minor injuries and was booked for a warrant.

The investigation is ongoing.
