Kansas police chief arrested on stalking charges

A central Kansas police chief has been arrested for allegedly stalking a victim. 

The Reno County Sheriff's Office and Hutchinson Police Department confirm that Bushton Police Chief, Brian Treaster, was arrested on Friday and booked into jail on charges of stalking and violating a restraining order and jailed on a $10,000 bond. 

The county attorney says Treaster had his first court appearance on Monday morning. Charges have not yet been filed.
