A Kansas man has pleaded guilty to trying to prevent Wichita police from investigating illegal poker games.

In February of 2014, 50-year-old  Brock Wedman attended a poker game at 922 1/2 East Douglas Street. Wedman had unknowingly invited an undercover Wichita police officer who was investigating organized gambling.

Wedman eventually became suspicious and took down the license plate and VIN of the the undercover officer's car. He then gave the information to a friend who was on the Wichita police force and asked him to confirm the officer's identity.

Wedman pleaded guilty to one count of concealing a felony and admitted he helped recruit players for illegal poker games in Wichita.
