Police say a 45-year-old Tennessee woman stole an electric shopping cart from Walmart and claimed to be driving to a Waffle House when they pulled her over.

WKRN reports Crossville officers responded Friday to a report of a woman driving an electric scooter in the slow lane on Highway 127. When they spotted her and got her to stop, the woman, identified as Sally Selby, admitted to police that she took the scooter from Walmart and was driving it to a Waffle House to get a cup of coffee.

Police watched surveillance footage from Walmart and said Selby entered the store about 45 minutes prior and was driving the electric scooter as she shopped.

She later exited the business, drove around the Walmart parking lot and then rode the shopping cart onto Highway 127. Police have not said what charge or charges Selby will face.

Crossville is about 70 miles west of Knoxville.
