Kansas boy killed in farm machinery accident

NORTON COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) -

Authorities say a boy has been killed in a farm machinery accident in northwest Kansas.

Norton County Sheriff Troy Thompson said his office received a call at around 9:25 p.m. Monday from a concerned parent who said their son had been doing chores and could not be found. 

Deputies arrived on scene and located the juvenile who had been in an accident involving farm machinery. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Sheriff Thompson did not release the boy's age, name or the exact location where the accident happened.
