Gusty winds and blizzard conditions continue across parts of KAKEland

Gusty winds and rain changing to snow continue to impact KAKEland overnight Wednesday, through Thursday.

Occasional blizzard conditions will reduce visibility over Northwest Kansas. The highest forecast snowfall totals are on the map below.

Gusty winds will continue through Thursday. Fortunately, the colder air moving in with this storm system has increased the relative humidity. This has greatly reduced the wildfire danger. However, a burn ban remains in effect for several Kansas counties.
