Wichita police identify man killed in crash on Kellogg

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita police have identified a 33-year-old man who was killed when he crashed into the back of stalled vehicle. 

The accident happened at around 9:45 a.m. Thursday east of the ramp from northbound I-135 to eastbound Kellogg. Officer Charley Davidson said a white SUV had stalled out and was partially in the merge lane and partially in the eastbound lane. A gray Honda that was heading east struck the rear of the SUV. 

The 33-year-old man driving the Honda was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police identified him as Quentin Bonham. 

The woman, a teen and a toddler in the SUV were not hurt. 

Eastbound lanes of Kellogg were closed for several hours. The crash is still under investigation. 

Bonham leaves behind a wife and five children. the mother of one of his children tells KAKE News.
