Police: 72-year-old man exposed himself to children at Braum's

WINFIELD, Kan. (AP) -

Winfield police have arrested a 72-year-old man who allegedly exposed himself to children inside a local Braum's. 

Officers were called shortly before 5:30 p.m. Saturday to the location at 509 East 9th Street. The police department said in a news released that they contacted the suspect, David Lee Scott, as he was leaving the restaurant. 

After completing their on-scene investigation, Scott was arrested and booked for felony lewd an lascivious behavior. 

"The charge is a felony due to the juveniles being under 16 years of age," the release said. 

A mother said in a Facebook post that the suspect was exposed and touching himself while looking at her children.

“I let Braum’s know and all they could tell me was he was a frequent and that they would keep an eye on him,” her post says.
