Officials in suburban Wichita are warning residents about an uptick in coyote sightings.
The City of Bel Aire said Monday on Twitter that coyotes sightings are "coming too close for comfort to our residential areas." The tweet did not give exact locations.
The city said local police are aware of the issue and are working on it. The tweet included some tips.

Bel Aire is on the northeastern edge of Wichita. Coyotes have also been spotted in the Kechi area.
