Two arrested in connection to Hutchinson convenience store robbery

UPDATE: Hutchinson Police say they have arrested two suspects from this morning's armed robbery at a Kwik Shop on E. 17th Avenue.

Monday afternoon, officers arrested 19-year-old Emerson Isiah Noble, of Wichita, and 27-year-old Elaina Rose Matos of Hutchinson. Investigators say Matos drove Noble to the store, and dropped him off with the intent to rob it.

Noble was arrested for Aggravated Robbery, and Felony Interference with Law Enforcement. Matos was arrested for Aggravated Robbery.

Hutchinson police are searching for a suspect who struck a convenience store cashier and removed money from the cash register. 

The robbery happened at around 2:24 a.m. Monday at the Kwik Shop at 1401 East 17th Avenue. The Hutchinson Police Department said on Facebook that the suspect entered the store, "striking the cashier and forcefully removing currency from the register."

The Facebook post included two surveillance photos of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Reno County Crime Stoppers at (620) 694-2666.
