Kelly Clarkson invites Kansas troopers known for singing to join her on stage

Global superstar Kelly Clarkson, the first ever American Idol, surprised a Kansas City crowd when she invited two Kansas Highway Patrol troopers to join her on stage. 

Clarkson's took her “A Minute and a Glass of Wine” to Sprint Center Thursday night. At one point during her show, she invited troopers Lamonte Jackson and Mike Pagel up on stage. The crowd went wild. 

The two troopers work as Kansas Capitol officers and are know for their singing. 

WDAF reports the Grammy-winning artist played a portion of the police car karaoke video the troopers created in May 2018 before they joined her with their own microphones.

Clarkson chimed in as their backup singer as they performed “Stand By Me.” She even streamed the moment to her Facebook page and you can watch it below.
