Prosecutors have charged a 22-year-old Wichita man with threatening to kill employees of an anti-abortion organization and rape their daughters.

U.S. Attorney Stephen McAllister said Christopher M. Thompson is charged with four counts of making threats to injure a person. The indictment alleged that he made the threatening calls to Operation Rescue in August of 2018.

If convicted, Thompson faces up to five years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000 on each count. The FBI and the Wichita Police Department investigated.
