The Wichita Police Department has arrested a man linked to the armed robbery of a local Dog-N-Shake.

Thursday, at around 10:20 a.m., officers responded to a robbery call at the Dog-N-Shake located at 8800 W. Maple. An employee told authorities that a man walked into the restaurant, pointed a handgun and demanded money. The man took the money and fled. 

With the help of witnesses, officers searched the surrounding area and located 26-year-old Clarence Wilson who was getting into a vehicle in the 200 block of South Robin.

Wilson was taken into custody without incident. Money and a handgun were also recovered from the scene.
