Get Toto into his basket, grab your ruby slippers and get ready to follow the yellow brick road back to a movie theater near you!

"The Wizard of Oz" is returning to the big screen!

The big event is all part of the film's 80th anniversary.

Select theaters are expected to take us back to the merry old land of Oz later this month. In addition to the classic film, moviegoers will also be able to see special insight from Turner Classic Movies.

Check out the list of theaters included in this run. The film is showing in Lawrence, Topeka and locations in the Kansas City area. We also found a showtime at Wichita's Orpheum Theatre in March.

An online search of AMC and Warren Theatres (Regal) in Wichita yielded no showtimes.
