WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita police have arrested two more teenagers for a pair of recent armed robberies, one of which led to the fatal shooting of one of the suspects.

Officer Charley Davidson said police arrested the 16- and 17-year-old boys following a traffic stop near Douglas and Edgemoor and around 7 p.m. Saturday. A firearm believed to be used in both robberies was recovered.

Police announced last week another teen suspect was arrested in connection to the robberies.

The first robbery happened at 12:10 p.m. December 30 at the Family Dollar at 936 South Woodlawn. An employee at the store told officers that three suspects came into the store with handguns and demanded property. The suspects left with cash and cigarettes. No one was hurt.

Investigators believe the suspects were involved in a another robbery at 2:45 that afternoon at the B & H Fast Trip on South Seneca. Officer Davidson said the four suspects entered the store, pointed handguns at an employee and customers and demanded money.  The suspects took money and cigarettes.
