Report: Former Wichita State star Ron Baker waived by Washington

A report from ESPN said the Washington Wizards have waived former Wichita State star Ron Baker. 

Baker signed with the Wizards after being released by the New York Knicks last month. ESPN reporter Ian Begley said Baker's contract would have been guaranteed for the rest of season if he had remained on the roster after 5 p.m. Monday.

Baker played 92 games with the Knicks, averaging 3.3 points.
