Wichita man made snow day a big success

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Wichita's first ever man made snow day is in the books. The snow is melting, sleds put away, gloves drying, kids defrosting and the verdict is in: it was a huge hit.

For some, the day even exceeded their expectations.

"It has been so fun! First I thought that it wasn't going to be much fun and now I'm like, this is way better than I thought! It is so fast, I spin around, I fell off, I almost cut my hands the ice is so sharp," says Weston Gough.

The magic of manufactured snow really amazed one little boy in particular.

"It's the temperature for snow, we have snow in a certain area, but there's no snow anywhere else," says Matthew Macaluso.

This was the snow bros first public event, and thanks to the raving reviews, it looks like it won't be the last.
