Chances are if you went to grade school in Wichita, you likely took a field trip to the Kansas Learning Center For Health in Halstead. Since 1965 , the center has been teaching young students some important lessons in life and the human body.

Students go to the Cent to learn all about their bodies and how they work thanks to the seven thousand foot building with countless exhibits. Along with peaking inside a human eyeball , and seeing a human skeleton; students will also get to view Valeda . Valeda is one of the only two plastic skinned transparent anatomical mannequins.

The Kansas Learning Center For Health serves as many as 15,000 students a year and is funded by private donations.
