Former Shocker Tommy Hottovy named Chicago Cubs pitching coach
Posted: Updated:Former Wichita State Shocker baseball player Tommy Hottovy was named the Chicago Cubs pitching coach on Thursday. Hottovy played at WSU from 2001 to 2004.
Hottovy was drafted in the 4th round of the 2004 MLB Draft by the Boston Red Sox. He also played for the Kansas City Royals.
The #Cubs today named Tommy Hottovy as pitching coach, Terrmel Sledge as assistant hitting coach and Chris Denorfia as quality assurance coach.
