It looks like Justin Timberlake won’t be bringing sexy back to Kansas City next week.

Timberlake announced on his Instagram account that he had to “postpone several tour dates due to bruised vocal cords.” He is scheduled to perform his Man of the Woods Tour at the Sprint Center next Monday in front of a sold-out crowd.

“My vocal cords are healing, but they are not all the way back to normal yet,” Timberlake posted. “So, my doctors want me to continue to rest my voice. They have asked me to hold off singing until next month.

“I am really sorry. I want to be back on the stage and I am doing all I can to get there quickly. Thank you for understanding.”

Sprint Center has not issued a comment on the postponement, but Timberlake posted “more to come on the rescheduled dates.”
