Shockers hold off Baylor, 71-63

Wichita State raced out to a 44-15 lead at the half, only to see Baylor cut the deficit down to 5 at one point. The Shockers topped the Bears, 71-63 to improve to 4-3 on the year. 

Samajae Haynes-Jones led WSU with 21 points off 7-17 shooting from the floor. Erik Stevenson added 18 points off the bench. The freshman is one week removed from a career high 21 point performance against Rice. 

Wichita State travels to Oklahoma City for a match up with Oklahoma on Saturday. Tip-off is 11 am with the game being televised on ESPNU.
