Woman dies, man hurt in crash on I-70 in Kansas

SALINA, Kan. (KAKE) -

Authorities say a 44-year-old Missouri woman has died following a crash in Saline County.

It happened just after 4:15 a.m. Thursday on Interstate 70 northwest of Salina. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a Chevy Cavalier was heading east when it veered off the roadway and came to rest under a bridge. 

The passenger in the car, Stacy Crader, of Tipton, died at the scene. The 29-year-old driver, Michael Rudroff, of Rolla, Missouri, was taken to a local hospital for treatment. 

Neither occupant was wearing a seat belt, the patrol says.
