Missing in Kansas: Gregory Smith, Jr., found dead

A missing Kansas City man has been found dead.

Gregory Smith, Jr., went missing on Oct. 24, but was recently found deceased. There are no additional details surrounding his death.


The Kansas City Police Department is asking for the public’s help with finding Gregory Smith, Jr. He was last seen on Oct. 24 when leaving his residence in the area of 3100 Minnesota Ave. in Kansas City, Kan.

Gregory, 25, was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray jogging pants, black and white Vans shoes and a green keychain necklace. He drives a silver, four-door 2011 Hyundai Sonata with Kansas tag 654-LHH.

KCPD says Gregory suffers from medical conditions that could require attention.

Height: 5’9’’

Weight: 130 pounds

Hair: Black

Eyes: Brown

Distinguishing marks: Tattoo on neck.
