Authorities say the body of a 78-year-old woman who was the subject of a statewide Silver Alert has been found after her car was pulled from floodwaters.

The Miami County Sheriff's Office said Friday morning that the body of Hazel Phillips was found in her car south of Paola. Deputies were called there for the report of a vehicle in the water.
