LIBERAL, Kan. (KAKE) -

Authorities say a 50-year-old man from Oklahoma has been killed in a rollover crash in southwest Kansas.

The crash happened just before 10 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of county roads 1 and D in Seward County. The Kansas Highway Patrol says Jimmy Bauer, of Tyrone, was attempting to make a right turn and lost control of his car.

The car overturned and came to rest on its wheels in a field. Bauer died at the scene. The patrol says he was not wearing a seat belt.
